Default Cam suggestions?

So I'm going to throw some cams in my bike finally and was looking for a good cam. I'm currently running a thunderheader, big sucker and shitty Vance an Hines programmer. Besides that it's a stock 96". Any help would be greatly appreciated guys

There are quite a few threads on this topic you can look at. I am also looking to get cams and think I have made my mind up on Andrews 48H. I plan on doing the work myself, even so its still kind of a pricey upgrade so I am going to hold off for a while.

Would be interested in what you decide on and a follow up on how they perform! Good luck in your selection.

I plan on going with the &S 583CE easy start cams. Good low/midrange cam with easier starting in colder weather. When my bike sits outside all night at work, she cranks really slow and barely starts!

The 585's do, but the 583's work with lesser compression.

I second the woods triple 2
Don't forget powervision, order them from Fuelmoto, you get in house dyno maps and great support.

Mine's a 103, but I put Feuling Reaper 543 cams in her with a thunderheader & stage 1 aircleaner. I'm happy with the choice of cams my buddy suggested.

I think the OP needs to add more about his riding style before too many cam choices are thrown around - like are you always solo or mostly 2 up, do you just cruise around or do yo like to rip it a lot. This will help determine what cam to choose - a low to mid rpm cam or maybe a mid to high rpm cam or maybe a cam that would work well with a Big Bore mod next year, etc.....

What he said! NOBODY should be recommending a cam for this gentleman until they know his riding style. There is no "perfect" cam across the board. It all depends on what you are looking for. What RPM range do you ride in, how heavy are you and/or your passenger, etc...etc...
