yes they are powder coated gloss black with the chrome tip. I bought the pipes used from ramhunter9 and I believe he got the shields power coated from "the powder pro" who is a sponsor on here.

I was hesitant at first because I didn't know how the gloss black was going to look on the bike, I had never seen some before... But I am very happy with them. They look bad *** in my opinion.

 

They do look exceptional. I admire the chrome/black contrast. One of the reasons I got an '03...

 

Anyone running Big Radius without baffles?
Wondering how much louder it is and how hard it is to get those baffles out... and if those pipes perform less well without baffles
