I’ve got the 18” detachable. Used it once. With all the buffeting I got from it, I removed it and am now back in clean air. No buffeting battering now.

Rare mid-50s today and Sun. Likely the last two good days to ride until next March.

Oh that sux, sorry to hear that. We never stop riding here in Texas... Don't think it hit 80 today, but I rode in a t-shirt

Decent day in Northern California yesterday. Shot on a ranch road, west of Petaluma, before making my way to the coast and Highway 1.

Got the new bars on Friday night, put some miles down this weekend, much better than the straight T's. Just need to figure out how to mount my handguards...

Last Sun (12-3) was likely my last ride until sometime in March. Not easy going months without a ride. I have ridden a day or two in Jan or Feb when we get an unusually warm day but the problem one risks is the salt on the raods. It does not do nice things to your rims.

Dude at work has a Honda VTX he rides year round including salted roads. He replaced the swingarm when he realized 30% of it had rusted away!

That is something I want to avoid.

That's been on my agenda for a while. Which one did you order? I've been looking at this one:
