Default exhausts

So I purchased a new Harley dyna low rider: 2014, mid year release. Not many parts offered yet. But, I started the thought that I may want just a little different this time, in terms of exhaust. I visited several sites. "Exotic Choppers", " FSD" , "Hacker", to name a few. Ive read blogs on all. But, Im left feeling shy about these after market guys, cause they don't have infrastructure to support themselves, and inevitably, people from the community seem to slam them.
Im just still searching for positive feed back from somewhere. Most people seem to post out of anger when things go wrong. Is there an after market , custom exhaust company anyone cares to recommend?

Have you tried the search function here on HD Forums? Exhausts are one of the most commonly discussed topics. Among the popular exhausts are ones from these companies (in no particular order): Vance & Hines, Thunderheader, Supertrapp, D&D, Bassani. There are several others, just review the pages here in the HD Dyna forum.

D&D were certainly good people to deal with when I bought my Bobcat. They were honest enough to point out that they don't discount pipes directly but pointed me to one of the dealers that does (M&M Cycles), and also that their international shipping prices were horrendous (M&M were half the price).

Then their tech support was great - I didn't need much, just some torque values, but I ended up chatting with Leonard for about 30 minutes anyway...

Manufacturing quality was excellent too - the thing is built like a battleship and sounds fantastic.

Highly recommended if they have a pipe that fits your bike.

There are many that will fit, just depends on what you want. I ran Rinehart 2 into 2s for awhile, but they were not what I was looking for. They fit with the stock mids or the fwd controls. They are in the Dyna for sale forum now. I picked up a stock set of head pipes off a Street Bob, cut off the crossover and welded plugs on, and am now deciding on what slip on I want to run. I like the staggered duals look, reminds me of my old 80 Wide Glide.

I'm also getting the 2 into 2 stock head pipes from a street Bob but I'm curious as to why you decided to eliminate the crossover?
