06 Street bob intermitent no start
So just recently this has happened. The first time it happened was a couple weeks ago after going for about a 200 mile ride with a friend. We stopped at his house towards the end of the ride, I hop on the bike to leave, hit the start button and it just cranks over and over and over. I had to try it 4 times before it started, but after that it fired right up and didn't have a problem. Then this morning I go out to fire it up and head to work, and it does the same thing, but this time it will not start, I tried for about 5 minutes. Anyone ever run into this problem before?

Start with the battery connections, including the ground at the starter. Check all fuses and relays for corrosion. Could be the fuel pump relay, which are cheap to buy. There's also the possibility that the fuel line in the tank has a hole. With less than a half tank, when you prime the pump you can hear it pissing against the inside of the tank.

thanks for the input guys, ill take a look at that when I get home. It would turn over no problem, just wouldn't start, the fuel pump was priming, so i assumed it was an ignition problem, but I did notice a fuel smell after attempting to start it several times so ill be checking the fuel lines for sure. But last night when I got home from work, it fired right up with no hesitation.
