I did the front first. It was pathetically soft. I put 3/4" PVC spacers on top of the springs first, for a more firm ride and higher clearance. Then the rear.

To make the front right you'll need race tech valves and springs or some other kit. Maybe some pre load adjusters too. And maybe a little heavier fork oil.

I don't like the bars. I'm not a hater, just not my style. It's a sweet bike, I have one and I like it stock, except for adding loud exhaust, and I would want beach bars.

I like it. I'd love to take it for a spin. I bet that's a fun bike to ride.

What he said
And just about any aftermarket shock is superior to the stock ones

Steve, which model Bassani pipes are those and did you need to do anything special to mount them (i.e. still using the stock mid+2 foot controls). They look like part number 1D5250B but I could swear bassani said it wouldn't fit with the FXDL when I asked them initially.

Love the pipes, just don't want to have to relocate my controls to fit them.

Hey Dash I have the exact same low rider and have been wanting to do the black Tbars with a small headlight fairing. Do you happen to remember exactly what parts you had to change just to do the bars? Also what size bars you went with? I was asking because looking at how it was assembled from the factory it looks like I am going to have to do a completely new headlight assembly as well.

You'll need a street bob bottom mount headlight bucket and headlight block. Low Rider lower triple tree should already have a hole drilled for the headlight block.
