Built S&S 107" w/10.5:1, S&S Crank, S&S Case w/MSO, Port & Polished Heads, S&S 570 Cams, && MORE
I have a FULLY BUILT S&S Motor for sale with MSO. (Manufactures Statement of Origin.... basically a title for a motor) which would allow you to register the motor with your bike or just keep it in your safe at home for proof of ownership. I have bought a lot of motors in the past and most are built off the stock motor from their bike and dont have the MSO. All the details will be listed below.
-S&S Built Case with the MSO
-S&S Crank built like a tank
-107" with Wiesco Pistons at 10.5:1 Compression
-Professionally Done Heads. Heads were Port and Polished to match this motor build. They feel smooth as glass.
-S&S 570 Cams and Cam Plate
-S&S Roller Rockers
-S&S Stainless 1 piece Valves
-S&S Heavy Duty Valve Springs
-S&S Quickee Adjustable Pushrods with conversion tubes and covers
-Plus maybe a few other minor things Im forgetting...
This motor was specifically built with 2 things in mind other than the obvious "MORE POWER". #1 was reliability for touring, I didnt want to go to insane with bore size or cam lift for that very reason. Along with the fact i made sure it has the best case and crank which is the weak link in a stock motor. #2 I didnt want to change out the clutch for a Heavy duty one (I just added a SE spring to to stock clutch), didnt want to get rid of my pipes and buy new ones that handle huge bores, didnt want to have to do chain drive like the motors that have insane numbers, plus just didnt want the wear and tear. So this was built to be reliable, not having to change alot of other components on the bike, plus with very respectable numbers.
Dyno numbers were 118 HP and 115 TQ with a good 2 into 1 pipe. This motor build cost over $7,000 in parts when building it. It only has ~1900 miles on it and is barely broken in, now ready to get a full dyno tune run for optimal numbers. I had this motor mounted in my backup bike but I just finally decided since Im not putting enough miles on that bike to justify keeping it and I would strip bike down and sell.
Im Located in Houston, TX and would prefer someone in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana area that can make the drive to Houston for Local pickup with cash in hand. Cash would be ideal and not having to jack with shipping would be great. Im going to give this Engine away for one hell of a deal to a good home for $3,700 CASH IN PERSON DEAL. Thats not a long distance non-cash transaction OR with any shipping. That's you come to me in Houston.....and get it for half what the parts alone cost me much less the time and effort that went into assembly and fine tuning. I may consider shipping CONUS as a backup if local sale doesn't come through but you pay the $300+ to ship it and no I wont do Paypal transaction for this large of a sale, just to risky. We would need to fully discuss other options of payment to see if it would work for the both of us.
Please guys, PM me ONLY IF SERIOUS AND HAVE THE FUNDS. I will check my PM box and this post for responses once or twice a day. I don't have a lot of free time right now so Im selling cheap to hopefully move it quick. DONT MISS OUT!
***** REMEMBER YOU CAN SELL THE MOTOR CURRENTLY IN YOUR BIKE TO RECOUP A LOT OF $$$$$$ *****
