Default DTC's on new to me Sportster

So I just bought a 14 1200 Custom and the previous owner had taken off the front turn signals and done a few other customization things. I plan on putting front signals on but there are a few other codes that I'm going to be tracking down this weekend. I was just wondering if there were any mods I should be looking for as this is my first Harley so I don't know the typical culprits just yet. Right now I have these codes:

P0031- O2 Sensor Heater Control
B2132-High Beam Output shorted high
B2137-Low Beam Output shorted high
B2141-Left front turn signal open
B2146-Right front turn signal open
B2161-Brake lamp output open

I thought I read that the O2 sensor one can be from putting a tuner on the bike but I'll be checking that wiring today. The headlights I'm not sure about because it doesn't have LED lights anywhere but the headlight is definitely dim, enough so where I can't ride at night until I fix that. The tail light isn't stock but that code just came up yesterday after riding for about a week. Hopefully some turn signals will give the BCM the load it is looking for and quit freaking out.

Seems like PO f'd-up something in your wiring. Look for shorts/breaks along the way and check all harnesses for connectivity/damage. Also, might want to check battery cable tightness on both ends...make sure they're clean & tight. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Ya I'd say so! Oh and the indicator for the left turn signal doesn't flash even though the rear is blinking. Right side just blinks fast. At least the wiring on this will be easier to deal with than my truck.

Sounds like you have things covered and just take your time...the electrical gremlins will become evident. Don't know why some owners like to hack-up their rides. At least you can bring this Sporty back to 100%. Enjoy!

If it's blinking fast that's normally an indicator of one of the bulbs being bad/out.
