Default Security light comes on

So I recently installed all led lighting, headlight, and front and rear signals. I was riding today and switched over to high beams and the security light came on. I have searched a few places and found a few answers (maybe) that it's not too big of an issue but the bike thinks there's a bulb burnt out or something else going on. Another person said because when you turn on high beams there's still voltage going to the low beam light. I just want to make sure I'm not going to damage any electric components or do any damage to the bike. It's a 2016 883.

I had the same thing happen it is because the bcm thinks that a bulb is out. The replacement bulb does not draw enough amps as the original bulb.

So is it an issue I need to be concerned about? Will it damage anything?

Josh,
Check for codes, I believe the security light is the indicator for a BCM code.

Sounds like you need a 'Load equalizer'

So it's giving me the code B2137. Lowbeam output shorted high. Any ideas?

You need the CANBUS adapter for the headlamp. The BCM is looking for a halogen light.
