Default Upgrading '05 Softail dash indicators to '09 LEDs?

The high beam indicator went kaput on my 2005 Softail Springer. It worked intermittently until it didn't. I've been looking on H-D's website, and it appears that the "LED indicator lamp assembly w/connector" uses the same part number as the OEM replacement for my Springer.

'05 Springer part #. '09 Softail part #
Could an upgrade to LED be as simple as buying the new part? I checked with a search and unless I was using the wrong terms, I didn't see a thread addressing this particular question. Anyone done this, or have any input?
As always, thanks in advance!

It's a bolt-in upgrade. Just buy and put it in.
