Default Headlight extender/adapter

I need a new headlight, but I absolutely hate the stock model for my 07 FXDC. There are plenty of nice ones to choose from, but I need an adapter to bring the light forward about 2". Harley doesn't give you enough room from the bracket back.

I've searched the web without any luck so far. Does anyone know where I can get one? Perhaps we have a fabricator lurking that can make one?

Thanks, but that won't work. The post on my bike doesn't have a hole in the top of it. The hole is on the sides to mount the light.

did you look at the ADJURE products? they're pricey but might find what you're looking for if you haven't

I bought a new headlight that fits the bike. (I got the blue lens)

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...T.ac=SLIsearch

Harley's wiring colors are black, white and yellow.

The new light's colors are blue, white and green.

I hooked the blue to the black - white to the white - green to the yellow.

Now my high beam indicator stays on and my low beam is now my high beam and visa versa.

Before I start over, did anyone else run across this problem?

O.K. I got it working by the process of elimination.

New Blue = Harley White
New White = Harley Yellow
New Green = Harley Black
