Need more power from my 107

Doesn't matter if you lose a bit off of sixth gear's top speed as you will never reach top speed in 6th on the road, mine on the dyno did near 300 kph in 6th !!!
A bit of work to change pulley for some one not very experienced or without the needed tools but a very good modification for sure

..............and also be aware that you may see a tick less on paper with that 30T..........but the mechanical leverage will have you feeling that the bike has more.

Is this something I can do myself with a $39 socket set and a torque wrench, I assume I would need to recalibrate the speedo too? Are there known part numbers for the smaller tranny sprocket, and (I'm guessing) a shorter belt too? This sounds like the direction I want to go, am I losing anything at the top end of the 6th gear's speed range? Is there a negative side to doing this?
Thanks for all the help and input guys!

A 107" can tap on 130 hp.
Target64's build is an example of just that.
Semi-same build, but with our Stage III Super-Tour Heads on a 98"er is currently being tuned over in Drakett, Mass, at D.A.S.
119.3 hp, sae, and they now need more injector...........
It'll more than likely blow well over the 120 plus mark once finalized.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and ideas, and especially HD Pilot for your excellent write up. I will go with the 30t gear as this sounds like the best solution for me (for now Lol.) It looks like this will be more of a winter project too as I don't want my bike down for anything more than a day or two during summer riding season. In hindsight I really should've just saved up a little more cash and bought the S&S 124 engine. My 107 kit with everything including parts, labor, tuning etc, ran around $4500, for a little more I could've stepped into a whole new league. I'm not disappointed with the 107's performance, but I believe this power and torque level should be the minimum factory standard for all HD bikes. Unfortunately after a year of riding with the 107 I'm now used to it and it's no longer enough, so here I go again chasing after the ever elusive higher HP and TQ.
