Default Cams ,Yes or NO

I have come up with 3, bolt in ,low to mid range cams.
1.SE 255
2.Andrews 48h
3.Woods tw222

Bike - 2009 flht Electra Glide Standard, stage 1 , 96 cube . (No other engine mods). Tuner - Power Vision with narrow band auto tune..

Riding style is , solo,, 90% country and highway riding,, never see 5000 rpm..

The question is , if I had the three bikes , ( same as above), and installed each bike with different cams, would I, with seat of my pants dyno, be able to feel any real difference between the three cams in performance ??

After researching, I just can't pick between the three.. I need a bit of a nudge by you guys !!! Or should I get the best deal on any of the Three ?
Cheers ...

If you're staying under 5K RPMs, don't discount the S&S 583 cams.

I run the Andrews 48h and am very happy with them. They start easy and have good power. Under 2000 rpm with no load, they will buck around but thats just due to there being cams in there. 255 I have heard are hard starting hot, no such problem with the 48h.

From all that I have read on the subject the 48H's seem to be a very reliable/consistent cam for the 96". The 255's were hyped quite a bit when they first came out but they drop off rather quickly and have been known to have heat/hard starting issues.

Another vote for the 583, and go with the easy starts

First off, you asked about seat of the pants feel. I would dare anyone to be able to tell me the difference in riding a bike with a 48 or a 255 seat of the pants. You might see some slight difference on the dyno but even very little there on a 96 inch motor. As for hard hot starts with the 255, in a 103 application yes, in a 96 not at all.
I have installed a bunch of 255's in 96 inch bikes and it makes for a really nice inexpensive upgrade. If money is not that big of a deal and you don't already have a set of 255 cams on the cheap then I would still probably run the 48 as it is a better cam should you want future upgrades.

Andrews 48 is the non-emmision version of the 255.
It will run cooler with the 48's.

Thanks for your responses guys .... Ok, with the advice above, I am leaning to the Andrews 48h ...
Question to Hillside, and other engine builders.. Bike, (as mentioned above), has done 110,000 kms ,(approx 70,000 miles).. Has not missed at beat,, oil consumption is normal,, compression test good,,
Plan is,, New cams,, replace cam tensioners and inner cam bearing,, new lifters,, adjustable PR's ,, new gaskets and orings etc,,
To keep costs to a minimum,, in your opinion, would it be advisable to reuse, cam plate,, oil pump,, and chains , if these components look ok after inspection ??
Cheers ...
