Default Best shop to get engine work done in Houston

Anyone got any recommendations on the best place to get engine work done in Houston? In the past, all I've done is have pipes and stage 1 tuner installed, but for my next bike I want more power.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of shops have extremely terrible web sites with very little information about what services they offer, so it's hard to judge whether they have any idea what they're doing or not.

Any recommendations on who's good in Houston would be appreciated.

I want a place that can not only do good work, but also one that can offer me advice on what mods need to be done for what I want to accomplish.

Several independents in the Houston area but if Burt Cherry is still at Republic HD on the southwest freeway, they don't come any better. Burt is a great wrench and tuner and you would have to get the commitment from the service manager that Burt is the only one that will work on your bike. Meet and talk to Burt and come up with a plan. Burt can also recommend a head porter should you want to have the heads worked.

qtrracer is right. Wolfgang Grasser, Mutant Motors by Wolf, Baytown. His personal bike is only a 98" engine, but it pulls 188 hp. He won the Wyotech Brute Horsepower Shootout at least 6 times. The man knows how to get power out a Harley.
