Andrews 21, or an S&S .509, are the 2 we install here for very good power in plug/play only set-ups, in 88" engines.

Early in this thread it was stated that the OP would need conversion cams. I looked at the S&S website and it appears the cam plate he has uses the early style (pre 2007) cams but has the updated hydraulic tensioner set up.
Easy way to find out. If you see roller or ball bearings pressed in the cam plate, early style cams.
Just an observation but I might be stating the obvious. Should open up the choice of cams.

The OP also has the benefit of the improved heads that were introduced in the '06 model year; no need for springs and head work for a cam only upgrade.

"do i order a cam that is for a 96" TC motor since i upgraded the cam plate to the 07+ oil pump and plate?

The original post is a bit ambiguous. The OP states he replaced the stock cam plate and oil pump with an S&S unit. While he does mention 07+, I looked on the S&S site and only saw 99-06 cam plates that retained the outer cam bearings but used the later style tensioners.
It is possible I am mistaken but it appears the S&S TC3 cam plate for 99-06 still uses pressed in outer bearings.

The OP should clarify the OP if he wants to get accurate advice on cam selection as some cams are not available as conversion cams.
