Question Cam poll: best low to mid torque

Please see my current mods below in my signature. Please choose the best cam for torque, as my bike is a touring model, and occasionally ride 2 up. One day, I would like to port and polish my heads, but, it might be a while. I like the idea of future proofing my performance upgrades. Thanks!
Also thought about Andrews 57, Cyclerama 575's and T-Man's 590

Mine is a 96 cu. in. and I ride 2-up a lot. My independent mechanic recommended this cam for my riding style and he was right on the money. My riding buddy chose the 555 and that too is a great cam choice with a little better idle "lope".

I didn't vote because there might be better but I'm really happy with the 555. It was matched with a fuelmoto 107 kit so I don't know if it's best for you or not. I ride 2 up in the Ozarks and it handles the hills much better than stock.

Please vote, the 555's are a serious contender.

JMHO but there are only four cams in the list that will set corrected compression/CCP at a manageable level and facilitate a good tune; Woods 555/777, TMan 555, SE259 and S&S 570. I would eliminate the SE cam because it is an SE cam; dealer's choice on the others. I am a TMan fan and would have to be looking at his 590 and 585.

Interesting that the SE 255 wasn't on the list. I run a 48H, and have never ridden a 255 but I hear they have gobs of bottom end ... just allegedly fall off at 4K ...

You are talking about a cam only upgrade w/head gasket, right?

Agree. That compression just kinda begs for the 590's.

Compression would be unmanageable with a 25* intake close at static CR of 10.5:1, same with the 48.
