Question Pushrods on 1980 Shovelhead

So I was replacing my pushrods and hydraulic lifters on 80 Shovelhead. I got to the 0 heel put the lifter and rod in. Started adjusting the rod but I think I may have over tighten it because I could only get wheel to go to a certain point. And now I can't get the rod out again (stuck on the bottom,0 ) not sure if I bent the rod either since I can't get it out to look at it. Anyone know what I could do to get that sucker back out again?
