Circlips source....
I need to wrap up my sportster engine upgrade but, can't find replacement circlips that are like those included in the SE 22711-04a piston kit (22482-04). I'm scared to reuse the ones i pulled out even though they look fine.
HD says they are on backorder and that i need to go to a dealer, have them order a kit, and then do a kit breakdown to get the circlips, 22482-04, out of the kit. What is a good source to get them from?
All that jazz could take a while. How do i measure the circlips to find a suitable aftermarket replacement?

Zippers has them listed.

There are probably a bunch of other applications that have the same size wrist pin.
Tru-Arc, Spiro-loc or even wrist pin buttons.
If you have the .927" diameter pin, it's the same as small block Chevy. Jegs or Summit Racing would have clips for that

be carefull using clips that are not made for the pistons.some pistons have round grooves for wire clips, some square for spiral or circlip style.also the round clips often are different diameters
