I have a 2013 ultra that I had a stag IV kit installed in. It has a screaming eagle proformance turner, roller rockers, perfect fit push rods, race tapers, high flow oil pump and a set of VH monster ovals and a jackpot as header for the exhaust. All the work was done by harley with harley parts. I recently took a 3600 mile trip and the bike burned a quart to 1/2 a quart a day. The dealer told me this was normal for a built bike. This doesn't sound anywhere near normal to me. When I started the trip I only had 7500 miles on the bike

What do y'all think?
3600 mile trip at what, 500 miles a day? So the motor was consuming 1/2 to a full quart every 500 miles? And the dealer told you that was normal for a built bike? And the dealer did the install of the Stage IV kit? Do not let the dealer off with that bullshit. I have two Harleys, both with "built" motors; both with much more mileage. One does not use a drop between changes and the other will consume 1/2-3/4 of a quart between changes. Stay on the dealer until the problem has been addressed to your satisfaction.
