New to this Forum. Cam ?s
Hey guys I'm new to this forum as I spend most of my time on the audio forum.
I have a few questions regarding caming my 05 EGlide Classic With a 88.
The motor has never been touched and I plan to wake it up a bit with a cam this winter. This bike was bought for our yearly trips when my wife rides with me and we have the bike loaded with gear also. So I'm not looking to turn it into a juiced up bar hopper just more of a pic me up.
I am sure this topic has been covered for every new guy to stop here. So can someone recommend a thread or two that I can look up and do some research before I start with a bunch of questions that have been covered over and over.
Thanks
Brad

All you have to do is type Cams for which ever bike your looking for in the search bar and you'll get a ton of threads on this subject. I also posted the same question when I was a new member and they let me know how often this comes up lol, but I also did get some help. By the way, you want a cam that comes on early and the .509 would work well. Good luck

We use both the S&S .509, and Andrews 21's.
Both do work well in an 88", but we favor the 21's here, as with the advent of more cubes later,(and alot of times folks want more, later) along with S/E 1.725 rocker arms, the 21's historically take on another life.
