Yes if the case is a stock HD case and yes for the rocker covers.

03 up cases might be OK with that lift cam. Especially if running cam chains. Base circles can shrink. Gear drive cams can run larger base circles and need checking. Rocker boxes typically won't unless roller rockers are used. If larger valve springs are used, clearance between the springs and the covers need checking.

Yeah I’ll be checking when the motor comes back from the shop doing the crank and heads. Will be woods 400g gear drive cams, woods valve springs, and roller rockers.

I will add to the good information, that best to check for upper spring collar, to rocker arm contact.

Wouldn't the shop who is doing your motor check for all of that that was suggested by the others here?

Moving to anything over .600 its recommended to switch to roller rockers...if you weren't running them already.

Roller rockers in general need additional clearancing of the rocker box covers.

they are just putting in new crank and doing heads, I'll be putting it back together, so I doubt they would have done the cam chest, and the rockers are in my garage.

These are woods tw400g cams in my stock cases. The feeler gauge is .032. I think this looks like enough clearance, doesn't it? I did clearance the rocker covers which was incredibly easy with the dremel and some cut off disks. Hope I can put it all back together tomorrow.

0.032 is fine for that location.
