Default Anymore power? For iron

I've got a 17 iron I converted to a 1200 using the AD conversion , it has the machine performance max hp air intake and Vance and Hines big radius exhaust, and it's been dyno tuned. It was getting about 76 hp before the tune now it's getting 81hp supposedly. I was wondering what are some other things that I can do to increase hp and torque?

Typically, cams, cylinder head work, along with increased compression, as dictated via the cam.

Trade it for a bigger bike...

JK, OP...what's your end goal? Are you just wanting to brag about the hp, or is there a specific reason to beef-up the motor?

Haha nah I love the body style of the iron sportster I'm wanting to kind of have a sleeper bike, something with alot more hp that people dont expect. Besides insurance will never know it's not a 883 :]

hd stage 4 or go to hammer performance and tell. The what you want. Give them a call. http://www.hammerperf.com. note that all you power will be up in the top end. If you want it low... get a twin cam or m8

Many happy hammer folks. See here:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/engin...ter-build.html

tons more here:
http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/f...play.php?f=311

i did a stage 4 and am 74tq/92hp. Pipes are killinng my tq and top end but i refuse to get rid of them. I also refuse to do headwork or use non- off the shelf parts. I'm stupid like that. Holds back build but, if something went wrong...everything i need is sitting at the dealer on the shelf. That's just me, im abnormal.

still says 883 on my insurance:

So you got a 883 and did a stage 4 but you're at 92hp? What did you do to it because my 1200 conversion which I thought was a stage four only puts me at 75 before dyno lol

883 became a 1200 6 months after i bought it. Got bored and ended up doing a stage 4. (Cams, high comp pistons, and se cnc ported heads, intake) https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...hlighted-heads

i deviated from the hd formula a bit but, stayed with mostly hd parts. Went with se-575 cams, s&s lifters, .040 cometic mls head gasket, and adjustable rods.

hammers stuff will do you better. They have teired kits.
90+ hp
100+
110+
120+ etc... read: http://www.1250kits.com/883conversions.shtml#packages

depends on how far you and your wallet want to go.

if you start nearing $4k and arent racing for $... a dyna or something may be a better move.

its a fun process enjoy the research and learning. Again... it will be all up top... in the rev range. Hard to beat the stock cams for low end grunt on a sporty

lol, that is 0-60 stuff. up top means you'll be up higher in the rev range to get your jollies, the sporty evo has no issue spooling up there. the stock cams don't like being up there.

see here:
see the tach? all up top.

look into cams and headwork. call them hammer folks
