I did a cam swap a couple month's back, HD wanted over 80 bucks USD for the shoes ( yes you do have to buy the complete assy), I picked up on E bay a set of S&S ( p/n330-0518) tensioner shoe sets for about 120 bucks and the shoes are separately available if ever need changing again.. although my original ones showed no wear at 28k miles, I ordered them before getting in to the cam chest as did not want to open cam chest for long time.

+1 on the feuling shoes, my stock shoes, both primary and secondary, showed a lot of wear at 35,000 km's

I missed the OPs bike was a later model; install tool is not needed for later models but CYCO does well tensioner shoes for the later models as well. I don't see anything wrong with the ones the OP is replacing.
