Bike blew up, HELP! (might be a good thing)

Go take a look at it. Might be the breather hose pissing oil from a leaky check valve and full sump, might be a huge hole in the case. One is a cheap fix. The other, about $3000-$6000, depending on the motor you chose and how much of the work you do yourself.
I'd go V111 regardless of what's up with the motor.

The point is you have not even looked at the bike since the problem occurred, and you are talking about crate motor.

Yeah, I’d investigate it a bit more. Take it to the dealer if you need to for a diagnosis. It could be some dried out gaskets, bad or clogged breather, or it hydrolocked and it’s toast.

He said he gave Harley $1200. Not sure as I didn't see the invoice, but probably not much more than a normal service and tires maybe.
It wasn't a small amount of oil, and had been leaking it fairly quickly before the flood. Looked to be out of the case without getting under it.

Just go and get it! Or tell me where it is

Since the bike has been sitting, and gas flowed out pipes on first start, it's more than likely that the oil drained from the tank into the motor and possibly gas from the tank may have flowed past the carb float an into the motor also. The engine is basically full of oil with some gas mixed in. On startup it will blow a bunch out the breather. You can pull the timing plug and crank the motor over someplace where it can make a mess.. Bet some oil squirts out. You might want to pull the plugs and crank the motor over with the starter and keep and eye on the oil level in the tank. It's possible that the original owner saw the tank was empty when the oil had really drained into the motor and added oil to the tank.
