I searched the web, the forums and googled it and can't seem to find the answer... Why wouldn't the Harley Tire Shredder Kit PN 92500038 bolt onto a 2010 Street Glide?

The other low compression 110 kits bolt right on but not this kit according to the fitment guide. Can anyone point out exactly what the difference is that will not allow this to bolt on?

Perhaps because the 10 didn't come with comp releases?

edit: power seems kinda weak for 110ci from that chart.

 

A harness can be purchased to add ACR. The heads that come with this kit have the holes for the ACR. ACR shouldn't be an issue. I was thinking it may be the outside diameter of the cylinder base where it slides into the crank case. But was hoping someone might know for sure...

The power on the chart may have to do with the cams. It does seem low for that much compression.

 

I believe Throttle by Wire came out in 2011?

 

The jugs will fit, but this kit comes with a 58mm throttle body which is TBW where yours is I believe still cable controlled. That said you could just get the piston/jug kit and have your heads ported for whatever cam you are going to run cheaper than that kit. Part number for the piston/jug kit is 92500039 and is $975 through Boardtracker HD. S&S has a 110" piston/jug kit as well.

I've got Throttle By Wire! No cables... Thank you for the reference to Boardtracker, I've been checking the prices from them. S&S appears to be out of stock on a lot of items. I can order the Throttle body separate from Boadtracker as well and S&S have larger throttle bodies listed on their website that fit my bike...

Perhaps it is an oversight by Harley, because they say the Tire Shredder can only fit 2014 and after, except M8, of course.

You're right, they can be added, but on the 14+ years the ECM controls them. On yours you'll have to wire the harness along parallel to the starter solenoid like a normal ACR setup.

 

It fits the 2010 bike, as noted you will need to add the ACR harness and then turn them on the ECM calibration/tune. They are decent kits however there are other options out there that will make better Hp/Tq for the same amount of effort.
