I AM Putting SC heads on my 2014 Twin Cooled . Does anyone have the TOP END torque specs? as well I am Changing out the cams as well so was looking for the specs on that as well . Thank You in advance !
The bible - factory service manual. Contains all the info we need when servicing our bikes, including torque specs, plus a whole lot more. I don't have a twin-cooled, so don't have that data.
That's why I am asking to see who has the specs . the great thing about todays world !!! You tube . but I would rather have the specs on the bench while working .,.
That's why it's wise to have an FSM! On-line videos aren't guranteed to supply everything essential to doing a difficult job, whereas H-D provide probably the best bike FSMs available.
It's the internet...maybe you'll get good info maybe you'll get some torque specs from someone who wants to teach you a lesson and gives you the wrong specs and sequence for tightening. then your nice new heads are warped or at the very least you have to go back in and replace gaskets or maybe break off a bolt deep inside your motor...all that because you didn't want to spend 100 dollars on a motor worth thousands. I'm thinking if you don't even know what a fsm is you probably shouldn't be doing the work you're doing...and no I don't have the specs you need. Take a gamble on some YouTube videos, if it's on the internet it's gotta be true right?
