Thanks for all the input guys.

Just went out and beat on the bike, came back and drained the crank case. just shy of 6oz, so thats good news.
At this point im pretty sure its the exhaust, and it seems most of you agree. Will be in touch with my local shop to get a dyno appointment soon. Hopefully he has openings next week. I have an old set of freedom performance pipes in the garage. (similar to short shots). ill bring those with me and see if running those makes a difference.
Im leaning towards the Bassani road rage III. Its a stainless, stepped header with 2.5in collector. Should flow much better.

ill update the thread after I get back to the dyno.

Thanks again everyone

Let's not start rumors about closed end caps and super trapps. IME if the time is taken to tune them. You can make the TQ look like you want it to.

Im just saying it cause i run one with an end cap on my old evo- and the torque curve is very similar to the op's. Mind you the numbers are much lower! Lol

That's a 124 w/640 cam and MegaFlo heads. Casey Wegner did the head pipe and it took a couple of changes from the rough math starter. SC-4 SS muff. Like stated above. Willingness, patience, and the resources to hang exhaust, test, mod test, mod test......... and don't forget about Murphy the tail chaser. Because I haven't found many absolutes in any of this. Once I think I got something figured w/ exhaust duration and pipe size relationship. Something else comes along and I'll question what I just proved to myself yesterday.

I think you will be happy with your choice in the road rage. That pipe has always been a performer for me.

Yes the throttle is opening all the way.
I just got the new pipes installed. Im also in the process of upgrading the front brakes to the touring brembo calipers. Have to run to the dealer to get a few things. ill take it for a test ride after my front brakes are back on.
Dyno will have to wait until next week. My local shop had a part break on the dyno and wont have it back running until about Tuesday.

Got the pipe and brakes on. Bike feels stronger, but the dyno will tell next week. The brakes are a significant upgrade.

97 hp seems a bit low for a build with worked heads, something sure doesn’t seem right
