Default A wee bit to much torque...

Can anyone give some insight to the 6 coil spring pressure plate type conpaired to the SE diaphragm type clutch spring. Did my 107 build and stock clutch can't handle torque any longer. The set up I did is great but I am eager to hit it hard but slips a wee bit at 1/3 throttle and do not want to trash new friction plates.
Thanks in advance.

I have no experience to offer but I'm changing cams soon an an if I get slippage I'm considering this one. it's a complete kit not adding springs it replaces it. you might have to consider taking what you got out an selling it for a beefier set up

Have already upgraded the friction disks and metal plates...
But thank you for the info.

AIM 95LT lock-up hat.
We've use/stock those for almost 2 decades now.
Will NOT slip.

Got a sheet? Got tq numbers at rpm's? Hat's work great above a certain RPM but do little down low. I have had great luch with Energy Ones BTX systems. They have an extra plate and heavier spring.

IME the biggest difference in springs is the feeling. A diaphragm spring gives you a rock over effect like a compound bow and a wound spring clutch is more of a linear pull. Either will hold gobs of tq down low if the spring or springs are heavy enough.

Scorpion lock up and billet basket is what I used, didn't want to have to buy another clutch should I ever decide to go bigger
