Default Is the oil pump OK
Hello.
Is the oil pump okay according to the photos? TwinCam 88 engine, 13 000 miles on it. Or is the pump due for replacement? Is it a good one from Daytona?

Looks good. But measure depth and ID. to spec.Spec for 04 TCb 88 coming.

What little I know about oil pumps, it looks good.
However, your are in that deep, and an oil pump is relatively cheap, considering the damage it could cause.
We’re it mine, depending upon mileage, I just replace it
How many miles do you have on that oil pump?

If the gerotors and cam plate are OK, run it; no need to replace. If for some reason you do replace it, the Daytona pump is fine.
