What year did the FXR Super Glide go from chain to belt final drive?

 

The FXR Super glide II was made through 83 and was chain.. They did not offer the Superglide in 84 but came back in 85 as an FXE and back to an FXR in 86.... still chain Although the All 85 FXR's where belt except the Super Glide FXE.... This is info I found searching on Ronnie's online fiche.....

 

There are several on-line parts websites where you can investigate this. '98 mentions Ronnies above, but I prefer this one. The results should be the same on both of them.
