Default starting issue

there are times that the my 1989 flhtc will not start... sometimes I hit the switch and nothing... hit it a again and it starts....sometimes it take 3 to 5 times hitting the starter switch.... there was a week ago I had to push start it... thanks for your help... John

Might be a loose connection or starter, start at the switch and work your way back.

thanks will check in the faring... pulled all wires on starter and put them back so I know they are tight.... the switch on the handle bars look good.... have not checked where it connect in the faring... thanks for your help....

Yeah that. ^^^ My 96 fxdwg did the exact same thing you are describing. I ended up going this route.
