If you Don't mind I would like to add to this thread... At 5:30 this Evening I learned of a dear friend, Big John had passed away today. He was a Veteran and served in Vietnam.. John was an Avid Rider/Supporter and ALWAYS looking to make someone feel better no matter what his issues were. We road every Sunday and did bike night every thursday night at a local bar and sometimes during the week we would go for a short ride and do lunch....Unfortunately his death was due to a vehicle making U-Turn from the shoulder of the road and never even seen John. It was a 50 mph zone. John's Electraglide T-boned the drivers door.. He later passed in the hospital.... It is a very sad day for me as well as all the others that he touched... Please take a moment and give peace... We all need each other and would like to keep our riding days going... Please be careful and remember to support those that are no longer with us.... Thank you.. 98HotrodFatboy ..

Lost a riding buddy a couple of years ago when a van turned in front of him, think we all take good friends as superman until reality happens, now how you feel.

Memorial Day is a tough one. So many have given so much. There is a debt there that can never be paid.
My practice is to go up to our Memorial Park each year. It is a hopelessly inadequate gesture on my part, but I do what I can to remember those who's lives were taken from them so we could enjoy ours.
