I think the better question is "What will everyone else in the house let him do for your relief?"

I recommend printing out this entire thread and go out on your front lawn completely naked, read it through a bull horn so everyone can hear and see, then then exclaim "You now behold me in all my naked glory with my ********* intact! Heretofore they will not be! From this day forward, you will address me as The Ball Less Wonder!"

Alternatively, you could sell the bike for very little money to a friend who lives nearby with the agreement you can ride it when you want to.

That's perhaps a bit harsh, but not far off the mark. Not our business to tell a man how to run his family, but you've posted in a semi-public forum, so...here it is.

If you have young children and you don't think you should take the inherent risks of riding a motorcycle, then you should own that decision and say it that way.

Putting the blame on the family - as in, "the family is opposed to it" - suggests you don't buy into the decision, in which case you're just surrendering to the wishes of others, and that will eat the heart out of a marriage.

So - either own the decision to quit riding, or up your life insurance and tell the family their objection is noted and rejected.

In other words, as T-Man said...grow a pair.

Well, I'm new here, so learning the lay of the land. Certainly that's how I'd say it, but I'm frequently told I'm an a--hole.
