Don't forget with the gasohol we have now, you have to be sure any rubber products, including o-rings, are made to be in contact with the alcohol or else they will degrade quickly. I've read reports of old cars catching fire due to leaks from rubber not made to be in contact with our gasohol. Jay Leno comes to mind, he was complaining about it on Jay Leno's Garage.
