Default Some things EVO....

1998 Road King

I have a few questions for the powers that be...

Will the trap door and gear set from a 2006 twinkie fit my 98 Road King trans case?

Seats? from what 98 to 07 ?? All touring?

Exhaust same as seat? 98-07?

Cam, cam bearing, lifters... I have 32/33 on the clock, completely stock. Should I r/r the cam bearing and lifters? or go with it...
I am debating a cam and lifters anyway. That would be the pre emptive strike...

Last but not least... Can I install a set of late model saddle bags? ( late like 2005 or so ) not too late anyway...

Thanks in advance!

I can't answer all your questions, but the saddlebags are unchanged from 1993 right through to 2013, only changing with the Rushmore models.

Exhausts up to 2008 will fit, although 07/08 models have O2 sensors, so will need blanking plugs (I have an '08 on my 1990 bike).

Trying to find how deep years go, installed a Baker gear set out of a 2002 into my 97 but don't know how deep they go. Just found a steal while looking up some info.

I put 06 transmission guts in my 95 softail case the only mod I had to do was the shifter shaft bushing was to short so I installed a longer one.
exhaust will work up to 08.
seat not sure.
if the cam and bearing and lifters are stock I would do it for peace of mind.
I think the saddle bags are 93or94 and up I know my 03 bags are the same.
