Pre-97 vs Post-97

I did not want to offend you by being blunt, Texas, but I have handled a whole variety of 96 and 97 frame and frame parts and learnt the time consuming and frustrating way.
The 1997 parts go on to fit on the next few years of Twin Cam frame thru 2003 to, I think, 2007.
94 to 96 was a short run, hence less parts and less choices. 97 you start to benefit from the Twin Cam spill over.
But, if you've got longer legs and aren't going to drop it, then the 1994 to 1996 is a good choice, a sweet point for Evos in terms of quality etc. It's no real disadvantage (except may be seat choice), it's just not an advantage.

Seat Issues 1991 Ultra
Hey new to the forum, not new to riding...I have a question, this is my first bagger, had softails, dyna's and sporties...
I'm at a loss, withoutout to much modding, what year seats will fit my 91 ultra...I'm thinking anything up to a 1996..but from what I've read here and at a couple others I can still use up to.. say an 04 roadking seat...any help would be much appreciated..
Thanks
Nick

Might work but you`ll have a gap between seat and console
