Default It Seems (new fender)

That i cant buy a new rear fender from HD Surdyke says obsolete. Of course I don't have a stock paint color for that year. as it was a custom color offered that year as a "classic" Its really only scarlet red. Looks like i may have to go used Anyone know for sure what years interchange?

They use the same 59579- from 91 to 06 at least with different trailing numbers from 91-06 with stops in between.. Frame got wider in 08, so it is possible anything before that to 91 will work..

Fit it. Paint it. Ride it.

I had the same problem when I got rear-ended in '14. At that time, the fender for my heritage was still listed in primer for $450!!!. I was lucky and found a NOS primed fender on eBay. The dealer arranged to have it painted in gen-u-ine Harley paint by a local painter. It turned out beautiful, but the paint alone (two tone with stripes) came to $600!

Unfortunately, the new fender got tweaked again in a second accident last year, and the paint is lifting around one of the bolt holes, so I'm going to have to have it repaired and painted again.

Do you know the name of the Red? If it is "Lazer pearl red", the PPG paint code is 75129 and if the white is "Birch White" the PPG paint code is 90303.

a good auto supply shop can scan the red and custom mix you the correct color.
