Believe me you don't want to go thought a bad ice storm. I can remember winter of 09. Sikeston blew a transformer and power poles was snapped like twigs. The whole of SEMO was without power for 2 weeks in some locations and 2 months for others. Ranks as the worst ice storm to hit the region.

Ice is here. Heading off to work. We'll see.

Don't bag too hard on the twinkies. I'm sure in time they will come to be a treasured part of MoCo history...sort of like the Aermacchi.

It's supposed to be pretty warm in CT for the next few days -- 40's to 50's through Sunday. It's been raining since yesterday afternoon, but not only did it not wash the salt off the roads, they were out salting like crazy last night because overnight temps were down around freezing. So no riding for me yet.

I don't go out until we have a good soaking rain to wash the salt away no matter what the temps are.

Supposed to get quite a bit warmer today.

The huge ice storm was a total bust. Fair amount of rain, a little ice here and there. They ended up cancelling school yesterday for nothing.
