I am not complaining. 70* here today. went for a ride at sunset, sky was lit up purple and bright orange and my night hog was screaming the national anthem.

I always like looking at your bike ace.

We hit record highs yesterday. Fog so thick on my way home this morning I actually was thankful I didn't take my bike to work.

We got caught not quite done with our building when it froze up...warm my *** we been working outside all week...ice on Monday, snow Tuesday two of the framers wrecked their car in the ice and I have a terrible cold now, oh and we still have about two days work to get this building dried in. Hell I don't think a ride would be that bad it's up to 15*. Ice predicted Sunday and Monday then warm again! Oh did I ever tell you I HATE winter?

I'm feeling ya neighbor !!! How ever I hate that ct really over does the salt and liquid treatment on our roads. Don't care to subject my bike two it,as it is doing a number on our truck and both cars. I wish they would just plow the road and that s it.
I friend of mine has his paint all blistering on the rear fender near the chrome end piece, real bad and it's gonna rot fast if not fixed soon. ONLY six years old and he rides thru winter when ever it's over 45℉ .
Even the state trucks/plows are falling apart because of this treatment !!! Now I'm started again !!! I get so pissed when I see the rust on my truck !!!!

Some time back a friend of mine transferred up north where they salt the roads and such (forget where right now)

He worked at repairing vehicles and installing right hand drive steering components on municipal equipment. Street sweepers and trash trucks mainly.

He was back in Texas in less then 6 months. He mentioned that each mechanic work area had Oxy and acetylene lines piped into the building from huge tanks. Along with nut and bolt bins that were stocked by a fella running around in a golf cart kinda truck.

His point was forget unbolting something you just used a torch and cut nuts and bolts off and replaced them alot of the time.

His old boss told him they aren't gonna transfer ya back but if you quit Ill hire you back soon as you can get here. That's what he did to get back to Texas
