The rear fender on this bike is off a FL something or other, definitely not stock. Two part question

on the part under the seat, exactly where the rear fender struts attach, there is a crease and a dimple on the left side. It looks clean and like it belongs. Is that correct

if not I was eyeballing a stock fender from Drag Specialties and the second question is, I do have the parts manual but a bit confused on the tail light, assembly and license plate hardware also.
