Default LED Head Light

Hello Everyone,
I'm looking for an LED head light for my 1984 FXRT (less fairing). Can you tell me what fits?
Lots of LED's out there but can't find one that states it will fit an FXR of my year.

Help please.
Thanks.

In my 08 Ultra I just did a bulb swap to LED.

DK Custom can fix you up if you want to go that way. Brighter and the color wave length of the light illuminates road signs a good 1/4 mile out and I do not get flashed by passing cars.

I tried a bulb swap. There's no room inside the bucket for anything larger than the stock H4 bulb. (Note: the original bulb was a sealed beam.)

Is that the 5-3/4" bulb? I put one on the Sportster. Two, actually. The first was Genuine HD. It failed. Well, got all cloudy. The second was virtually identical, bought on Amazon a few years later for about 1/10th the cost. I did have to trim the cooling fins off the back to get it to fit in the bucket. No problems running either of them with less fins.

Yes, 5-3/4.
Do you happen to have the part number of the bulb you bought on Amazon?

This one:

As I said, with the fins on the back, it won't all fit in the bucket, but take a saw to them and smooth out the cut edges with some sandpaper and it will fit in there.

The difference in brightness to oncoming traffic is amazing. My friend had the $100 HD sold halogen bulb "upgrade" and both bike were behind me. This one looked twice as bright.
