Default Rear tire

Hello guys
I have 1997 heritage springer
The problem is the rear tire touching the finder from the left side and the right side space is bigger than the left side (side as u setting on the bike )
Tried to do everything but it still the same problem
Can anyone tell me what should I do
Best regard

The axle spacers are positioned wrong or missing? Do you have a factory manual? Are you the original owner? Previous owner might have things wrong.

It will show you a parts diagram of the rear axle and it's spacers and locations. If not, this link below might help to show you the diagram. Just select the year then the model.

There are 3 outer spacers for the rear wheel.

One on each side that fits into the wheel seals - they are identical length (short) #22 in the linked photo above

Another longer spacer on the left side (I don't have a measurement) #13 in the linked photo

The brake caliper mount is the only other spacing on the right side.

If this is a new tire install....did you leave a spacer on the tire machine?

Grabbed a wrong spacer?

Axle all the way through?

Swingarm/suspension ok?

Just idea.....dunno
