Default Handlebar controls

Has anyone had any luck getting the handlebar controls to work with aftermarket stereo on a 1997 Ultra?

I got a kit that had the right mounting, but the interface kit won't work on the 97.

What control module are you using ? I used a Biketronic kit for my '94 and it works great. They make a plug and play unit for your bike.

For anyone else interested in this issue. I used an ASWC-1 from best buy and had the controls working in less than 30 minutes.

do you have a link for the ASWC-1? Im looking for a controller that'll make the hand controls work for my aftermarket stereo in my 1997 Electraglide standard.
I did Google it but unsure of it. Thanks

I had to change a setting in the headunit to allow remote control before mine worked.
