Default Fat spoke help

I’m wanting to put a fat spoke in the front of my 92. Dealer I was about to buy my wheel from told me my Speedo wouldn’t work rude to the new wheel won’t accept the cable. What do I need to do to put this wheel on my bike and have my Speedo work

What model? You said it's a '92.

My '91 Heritage speedo drive actually runs off a notch in the rotor. Double check yours to see if this is the case. If so, the wheels may work with a notched rotor.
