oil
It would be worth looking at the chemical make up of their oil compared to others.
Many years ago I used kendall exclusively for over a decade, then one day I had an odd engine failure on a fresh build. I had the oil analyzed ( I'd had previous samples done for other reasons) The results came back as having a fraction or the anti wear and corrosion inhibitors that I expected to see. I asked the UK rep (I lived in England back then) and he said the oil composition had changed to meet EPA regs to lower tail pipe emissions. I had to change to another brand unfortunately.
This was back in the 90s so maybe their oil is better now or maybe all oils are as bad and that's just the standard now 🤷♂️
