FWIW some of the repro mirrors from Amazon etc. have a metric thread that won't work with the turn signal mounts etc...but it is close enough that it can be reworked with a SAE die, did that myself.

Yes, and they hold tight, they are a nice piece. I mean A is actually the period correct mirror, but like you said, the B's go with anything.
Thanks

B.
As for D aren't those are the ones without external screw tighteners and they flop around after a while?

Use the long stem B, (and it ain’t that long) if you are a large human, so you can see around your arms and shoulders

Agree on the Bs! Classics that work.
I put short stems on my 10 inch bars on my bagger, and my Dyna. Like stated above, this set up goes on any Harley.

I like my “ A” mirrors just fine. B would likely work for me as well, they even look a little better but I’m not gonna buy a set for the small improvement in appearance.
“ C “..??? 🤣🤣🤣
Tell me you don’t ride much without telling me you don’t ride much.

A or B.
I’ve run both styles on my bikes. They look good, hold their position, and as an added bonus, you can actually see behind you.

I have long stem A on the Softail. B on the Limited. I like both.
