Default 89 flhtcu oil line replacement

What’s the best/easiest way to replace these two pre formed lines out of the oil pump that 90? I ran all new oil hose but those two kink at the 90.

Assuming the OE parts are NLA ?

I googled "90 degree pre formed oil hose" Amazon had some with multiple angles you cut out what you want

Wonder if you could go to NAPA and get some fittings to get you past the 90 then attach your hose?

I have wondered about this also.

If you go the rubber hose "universal" route, pay attention to some of those amazon specials. Need to make sure they are rated for the heat and has the fiber reinforcement/webbing molded in. While not a ton of pressure, there is some, and throw in the hot oil and you want it to be the best you can find. Happy hunting.

Metal 90* is a good idea if yo can get it to fit and rotate in such a tight spot. Pay attention to internal size of fitting as well. Some of those fitting can have a smaller ID than oem.

Disregard if just a vent line. Pretty much anything will work for that.

I have identical lines. I bought an extra set 20 years a go, never used them, no need. Unless you cut the lines to remove the engine, there is never a reason to replace them. I've disconnected mine many times, still good.

What about using brake line instead of the spring? Don’t have any and not sure I can get them locally.

I cut one taking the motor out because it didn’t want to come off the fitting. Wasn’t thinking. Just figured I’d replace them both though the old ones are pretty hard.

OK. I saw a fairly good job but can't find the photo. Use transmission cooler line (Oreilys) Off the nipples, loop them out all the way past the exhaust pipe, then curl them back inward to the transmission.and down.

If I can find the photo I'll post it later.
