and yet another reason to believe we are long lost twin brothers, Mike!
It really seems to work well, and the single fire changed the sound of the idle. Could have been the 13 year old coil and ignition were getting weak?

270 miles is what.... about 1 tank of fuel?
Can't wait to meet the crew. Hopefully this fall, but not for sure yet.

Us too, Mike.
Right now we have 2-3 weeks left on the project, and then nothing.
I'm sure there will be work for the fall, but if it's a new employer it is a pain to get time off.
So we will have to see.
Is 51 too young to retire? I got so much I wanna do.
Give me my pension now and I promise I will go back to work when I turn 75. :

The bikes an 88 Electra Glide Classic 85th anniversery model. Bought it from the origanal owner and he kept it cherry. Paint is like it came off the showroom floor. He had the stage II put in when he bought it, said it was like a dog when he rode it hme from the dealer. First evo I've owned. I've been a classic guy most of my life. Pans and shovel with one iron head sporster in there. Got to say I like the way the evo handles and that electric start when did they come up with that. All and all it's damn good motor and I like the fact that I can still wrench on it, don't need any specialized computer system to diagnose anything. Soon as the heat breaks here in TX I'm planning on taking a little ride on it until then it's just around town.
Nice looking bikes.I can't help but notice the flatbed Ford in the picture on the corner in Winslow Az.Was the girl still in it after all these years?
Take it easy...

We're having one of our rare summer thunderstorms today. We always have the threat of T-storms in the summer but they rarely make it this far west on the mountain. It's been pouring off and on since dawn today.......glad I have a garage to work on the bike in. Been making headway, still savin pennies towards the stator/regulator parts.

guess everyone is out riding
I got coffee
well I decided to take the fatty for a ride yea right my sweetie wouldn't start I tinkered with it until my legs gave out but I was able to determine that there is no spark from the coil.
man where to start guess I'll start with the easiest lookin for broken or loose wire then the hard part will be gettin back up from the ground.hahaha any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
