Peace and quiet with an EVO????????
Not at all.
It is the only real sounding Harley.

Our S&S powered Evo RK is an absolute joy to the wife and I.Plenty of grunt,we too ride alone a lot.Our thing is my rotating work schedule it's out of sync with most people. We do ride in groups and have always enjoyed that. This bike will never get sold.

Welcome Dog. Just leave that 155 ticking over outside for a while!

thats one of the reasons I ride to work....setting off all of the alarms and being told "we know when you arrive" !

Peace and Quiet with an Evo I think NOT!

I like it, get alot of your bike sounds way different than the newer bikes!

I tried to buy my 98 RK when it was new because I liked the paint job, diff then the 95 an edition. They wanted $5000 over told the guy to ...... off, found it at an auction 3 years ago and snapped it up with 20k on it. Its one bike I won't sell. I don't ride in groups, I like to go out and run it hard just getting lost, no phone, no nothing, just listing to the bike and the road. Can't beat and evo!

My Fatboy has been down for a couple of weeks putting a 113 Ultima in it. Rent a 2009 Road Glide a couple of weeks ago and put 600 miles on it over the weekend. Hated it. Ran hot. Slow. To quiet. But most of all no character. Rode my Fatboy for the first time tonight with the new motor. Sat down and it just felt like home.
