Hi was wondering i have 1340 screaming eagle heads pistons,ev57 cam,coil and ingniton module sometime when i shut off the bike i get engine run on.I want to check the timing and never done it before.Is this correct procedure?Remove timing plug install clear timing plug.Rotate engine untill front cylinder is at TDC.Then connect timing light clamp around spark plug wire one to positive of battery and other to ground.Start bike when idle is just under 1000 rpm piont timing light into clear plug and if front cylinder advance timing mark isnt centered in timing hole adjust timing plate.Am i correct or missing something?Thanks for the help
